Some might say positively that the walk out scene made by Talk n' Text decided by their head coach was an heroic act to wake up the officiating of PBA as biased an implication that referees are bought out, PBA is scripted and trying to save Ginebra for the sake of their million fans which could generate million of income in return. Talk n' Text also made a scary scene by arriving later at the coliseum.
Is it just a mind game? Well, the result is negative for coach Chot's team, instead of playing inspired basketball, Ginebra played better and with more motivation. We don't know if that walk out motivates TNT the way they played last night or Ginebra just really outplayed them.
Put your Blame on Me.....
1. Coach Chot should have played the Game 4 instead of walking out giving their opponent a sweat free game. It was just the first period with Ginebra having a minimal lead. They could have played that game at least having a picture of what might happened without Ranidel and should have made the adjustment on Game 5 as the Gin Kings dominated the rebounding department. Protest should have been made after the game (eh d sana napgbigyan man lang ni commisioner na ibaba s Flagrant Foul 1 ung case ni Ranidel kaso napahiya sila sa walk out)
2. Failed to inspired his team. The other front liners didn't step up specially in defense and rebounding. The worst, during the last 5 minutes of the ball game, TNT's coach is already shouting his players (it didn't help).
3. The walk out makes the series controversial and the result... an outpouring support of Ginebra fans making them energized.
4. Lastly, a costly decision fined them P500,000.00 (though chicken feed for Mr. MVP's team) and a wasted opportunity (from a 2-0 lead) to defend their crown.
It was a great series indeed... a repeated history in which the Ginebra franchise did more than 15 years ago... a reversal of fortune for the TNT squad and Ginebra's destiny prevailed.
