ESPN is reporting that Doc Rivers pulled captain Paul Pierce SF out of practice Monday afternoon to rest his sprained left mid-foot injury, and is questionable to play Wednesday night against the New Orleans Hornets.
Fantasy Impact: Doc Rivers said that Pierce "wasn't moving around very well." This doesn't sound very promising, look to get somewhere along the lines of a 10 point, 3 rebound performance from Paul Wednesday. I suggest benching him for a game or two. Two fantasy free agents still around in most leagues, Carlos Delfinio of Milwaukee (SF,SG) and Carl Landry of Houston (PF), either would suffice during Pierce's absence.
